人稱 #海中溫柔巨人 的海洋夢幻明星 #鯨鯊
究竟是鯨魚？鯊魚？還是巧克力🍫？(喂～
其實是鯊魚喔～～
而且還是地表體積最大的魚類
身長可長到12公尺呢！ (吊起來大約4層樓的概念 😲
這群巨人們之所以擁有專屬的日子
並不是因為很～大～尾～
而是 #世界自然保育聯盟 (IUCN) 和
#瀕臨絕種野生動植物國際貿易公約 (#華盛頓公約)
分別將牠們列為 #瀕危物種 😢
和 #族群數量稀少且須有效管制 的名單！
而我國 海洋委員會 也在今年5月
正式將鯨鯊納入 #海洋保育類野生動物名錄 特別呵護～
話說鯨鯊本來是 #台灣 海域很常見的物種
但過去因為人類獵捕嚴重而不見蹤跡...
不過!!
聽說最近有潛水者在 #墾丁 發現了牠們美麗的身影
不知是否因為 #武漢肺炎 造成人類活動減少
讓這些人品好到爆的 #大憨鯊 更放心靠近呢❓🤔

希望我們每個人都能善盡 #地球公民 的責任
保護海洋 🌊 嚴禁濫捕 🚫

華盛頓公約，正式名稱為「瀕臨絕種野生動植物國際貿易公約」(CITES)，由「國際自然與天然資源保育聯盟」各會員國政府在美國華盛頓起草及簽署，並於1975年生效。目前CITES管制了大約5,000種的動物與28,000種的植物，並分為3個等級來規範，以達到物種貿易永續發展的目標。
#InternationalWhaleSharkDay is held on August 30 every year to raise awareness of #WhaleSharks and draw attention to their importance to marine ecosystems.
The fish species is listed as endangered not only by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), but also under the Washington Convention (CITES). The Ocean Affairs Council announced in May that the whale shark has been added to the nation's list of protected species.
Whale sharks are the largest fish in the ocean. Despite their size, whale sharks are gentle and pose no danger to humans, hence their nickname "the gentle giants of the ocean." Over-fishing and other human activity has left them vulnerable, and as a responsible global stakeholder, #Taiwan has a duty to do our best to protect them!
